2026 Business Weekly x TS Financial Holding Co., Ltd Net Zero Summit — The Era of Sustainability Performance: A New Value Formula Driving Corporate Growth

From "Rice of Industry" to the Heart of Energy Transformation: Sustainability Performance to Become Long-Term Corporate Competitiveness

PANJIT Group President Fang Min-Chung attended the "2026 Business Weekly x TS Financial Holding Co., Ltd Net Zero Summit" and delivered a keynote speech titled "New Strategy: The Next Competitive Equation for the Rice of Industry," pointing out that power semiconductors are the key foundational components underpinning the low-carbon transition, AI computing power, automotive electronics, and improvements in energy efficiency. In the era of sustainability performance, corporate competitiveness no longer comes from a single product specification alone, but from the integrated capability of technology, quality, supply chain resilience, and global deployment.

Forty years ago, PANJIT set out from Gangshan, Kaohsiung, and has long been rooted in the power semiconductor industry, gradually advancing from basic component manufacturing to the global power semiconductor stage. Power semiconductors are like the "rice of industry" — while not a brand directly visible to end consumers, they are indispensable key components within electronic systems. From AI data centers, electric vehicles, and industrial equipment to energy applications, all rely on stable and highly efficient power conversion.

"Building on its foundation as the ‘rice of industry,’ PANJIT is further becoming the efficiency heart of the energy transformation era." Sustainability is not only a corporate responsibility, but also a business capability that drives product upgrades, customer trust, and long-term growth. With its high-efficiency power semiconductor technology, PANJIT supports the AI ecosystem, automotive electronics, and industrial and energy applications, helping customers create end-value that is more energy-efficient, reliable, and low-carbon.

In the speech, PANJIT also presented its three-dimensional E-S-G strategic framework, focusing on Energy transition and green products, Security in product safety and supply chain resilience, and Geo-strategy and global deployment. PANJIT is applying its ACE application strategy to guide its positioning in high-value markets, covering Artificial Intelligence (AI), Communications, and Electric Vehicles and automotive applications. Its technology foundation includes third-generation SiC semiconductors, the SGT MOS platform, and advanced power semiconductor technologies, with future expansion toward system-level solutions.

In terms of global footprint, PANJIT operates as an IDM with 3 wafer fabs and 5 global packaging plants, serving more than 50 countries, with shipments reaching 260 billion units in 2025. With Taiwan as its R&D core, PANJIT has also established production lines in the Philippines and Vietnam, strengthening regional manufacturing and localized customer service capabilities in response to customers’ needs for supply flexibility, delivery discipline, and risk diversification amid the restructuring of global supply chains.

In closing, he emphasized that PANJIT will continue to upgrade from a component supplier to a systems-application-oriented solutions partner, building competitiveness that international customers can trust over the long term through power semiconductor technology, sustainability governance, quality management, and supply chain collaboration. Guided by the spirit of “Power the Future,” PANJIT will remain grateful for the past, build a better future together, and work with global partners to create a more beautiful planet.
